The Russian River Confluence is a unique event envisioned to culminate and inspire a series of ‘beyond sustainability’ conversations and gatherings intended to tap the collective capacity of the Russian River Watershed community.

The Russian River Confluence will engage you as a stakeholder in the watershed, encourage storytelling and identify actions to promote a holistic approach to the watershed that ensures its resiliency and renewal. We invite you to join us!

Saturday, April 22, 2017: March for Science Santa Rosa

Join Russian Riverkeeper and other scientific and medical professionals as we march in downtown Santa Rosa from 12-2pm to protect the place of science in determining public decisions.

Saturday, June 3, 2017: Great Russian River Race (GR3)

GR3 is back to open another summer on the Russian River. This annual kayak, canoe, and SUP race has a pro course (approx. 9 miles) and a short course (approx. 4 miles) that ends in a FREE River Party at Johnson’s Beach in Guerneville, with food trucks, beer, and live music by the Cahoots to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and winning racers!

Saturday, September 17th, 2016: Russian River Watershed Cleanup

The mission of the Russian River Watershed Cleanup Committee is to coordinate cleanup and removal of trash in the Russian River and its tributaries between Ukiah and Jenner. We organize and coordinate teams of volunteers for an annual cleanup and promote stewardship of the Russian River watershed. Saturday, September 24, 2016: River Awards Gala

The annual River Awards Gala honors and highlights the people, businesses, and farms that are leading the Russian River to a more climate resilient future. In addition to an award ceremony, the Gala featured a local farm-to-table dinner, drinks on the patio in the afternoon sun, biodynamic and organic local wine and beer, silent and live auction with Senator Mike McGuire, and live music. Saturday, October 8, 2016:  Beaver Bio-Blitz
