North Coast Integrated Regional Water Management Plan
An innovative, stakeholder-driven collaboration among local government, watershed groups, tribes and interested partners in the North Coast region of California. The NCIRWMP integrates long term planning and high quality project implementation in an adaptive management framework—fostering coordination and communication among the diverse stakeholders in the Region.
Russian River Watershed Association
An association of nine cities, counties, and special districts in the Russian River Watershed that have come together to coordinate regional programs for clean water, fisheries restoration, and watershed enhancement. The Association works to promote cooperation and implementation of projects that protect watershed resources, restore fisheries and improve water quality at reduced cost to taxpayers. There are monthly meetings that are open to the public.
Russian River Watershed Cleanup Committee
Our mission is to coordinate cleanup and removal of trash in the Russian River and its tributaries between Cloverdale and Jenner. We organize and coordinate teams of volunteers for an annual cleanup and promote stewardship of the Russian River watershed.
Russian River Watershed Protection Committee
Based in Guerneville, the Russian River Watershed Protection Committee is dedicated to the care and preservation of our beautiful Russian River.
Sonoma County Water Coalition
The Sonoma County Water Coalition represents 32 organizations and more than 24,000 California voters.
Sonoma Resource Conservation District
The mission of the Sonoma RCD is to help agricultural and rural landowners protect, conserve, and restore natural resources through information, education, and technical assistance programs. Sonoma RCD offers a number of publications to help people protect and conserve natural resources that you might find helpful.

Waterkeeper Alliance
Founded in 1999 by environmental attorney and activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and several veteran Waterkeepers, Waterkeeper Alliance is a global movement of on-the-water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.
