Russian Riverkeeper is pleased to announce the exciting plans we have in store for the 36th annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup on Saturday, September 17th 2022.

We’re looking forward to gathering again with you to show the river some love! The September cleanup is our largest of the year and helps remove trash that accumulates over the summer months on the Russian River. This year, there will be teams across the watershed from Ukiah to Monte Rio all contributing with the shared mission of protecting our River and ocean from trash pollution. Our goal in 2022 is to beat our record of 35,000 pounds of trash, 175 tires, and 452 volunteers, and we can only do it with your help.

The Russian River Watershed Cleanup will feature opportunities for your organization to help shape the future of river parks, future trails, and riparian habitat needed for healthy ecosystems. Sponsorships will help fund cleanup supplies, safety training for cleanup leaders, disposal and hazardous waste fees, and volunteer recruitment and appreciation. Funds will also help us amplify your voice to keep polluters and regulators accountable.

You are invited to become a sponsor of the 2022 Cleanup and help support our mission to restore and sustain the health of the Russian River. Sponsorship levels start at $500 and include promotional branding as well as cleanup participation – a great way for staff team building on the river! Your sponsorship is tax deductible and our Tax ID is #68-0321117.

We encourage you to join in the spirit of stewardship, community, and fun. Our river is our most valuable natural resource and benefits our entire community – your support is very much needed and appreciated!

For best promotional exposure, please contact Ariel Majorana to pledge your sponsorship now!
