Join Russian Riverkeeper and the City of Santa Rosa in cleaning up the constant flow of trash entering Santa Rosa Creek before trash gets to the Russian River and ocean!
It’s easy to participate and we provide all the gloves, trash grabbers, and bags.
When you arrive at Olive Park, check-in with your team leaders near the corner of Orange and Hazel Streets.
From the check-in location, you’ll be able to choose various walking routes along the creek based on where the trash is. Supplies will be provided at check-in, but feel free to bring your own gloves, water, and other supplies if you have them.
Our regular cleanups will continue to remove litter from waterways before rains wash them to the ocean. We can’t save the ocean unless we stop sending our trash downstream. You can help us break that cycle! Together we can stop adding to the great Pacific Garbage Patch in the middle of the ocean (it’s as big as Texas!).
We look forward to working together for a cleaner watershed and Pacific Ocean.
