All Russian Riverkeeper public events, including volunteer opportunities, have been cancelled while Sonoma County’s Shelter In Place Order is in effect.

Being out on the Russian River may be important to your emotional and physical wellbeing. Please keep yourself safe by wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands often.

And although we can’t get together right now, the good news is that you can still show the watershed some love by picking up trash on your own! Grab a bag, a pair of gloves, and head outside.

Make sure to tag us on social media @russianriverkeepercleanteam so we can give you a virtual pat on the back!

From picking up trash to removing invasive species, volunteers are essential to our success. Russian Riverkeeper coordinates community volunteers, schools, and businesses throughout the year to help protect the watershed.

Volunteering with Russian Riverkeeper will connect you with a community of people who care deeply about the environment of Sonoma County. Join our expanding volunteer group, have fun, learn new and exciting things, and take your Russian River stewardship to the highest level!
