Riverkeeper Stewardship Park Cleanup and Restoration Day
We’re excited to come together in service to our community! Riverkeeper Park could use some extra care, and there’s always a bit of trash to remove—both in the park and across the green bridge if we have enough volunteers. In addition to cleanup efforts, we also need help with general park maintenance, so you’re welcome to choose the activity that suits you best—or take on both!
Upon arrival at Riverkeeper Park, please check in with your cleanup lead, Carol Shumate to get started. Tasks may include raking, removing invasive species and weeds, trimming branches, and graffiti removal. We’ll provide supplies as needed, but we encourage you to bring gloves, water, a hat, and any personal items you may need. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and come prepared for about two hours of hands-on work to help keep the Russian River beautiful!
