Riverkeeper Stewardship Park and Regional Park Cleanup
We’re excited to come together in service with our community! Riverkeeper Park could use some extra care, and there’s always a bit of trash to remove—both in the park and across the green bridge at the Regional Park if we have enough volunteers.
Upon arrival at Riverkeeper Park, please check in with your cleanup lead, Ariel Majorana, to get started. We’ll provide supplies as needed, but we encourage you to bring gloves, water, a hat, and any personal items you may need. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and come prepared for about two hours of hands-on work to help keep the Russian River beautiful!
Optional Student Research Opportunity: We’re also excited to share an optional opportunity to support student research during this cleanup. Emmanuelle Knox, a psychology student at Dominican University of California, is conducting a study on people’s experiences while giving back to the environment.
Participation involves completing a brief questionnaire before and after the cleanup (approximately 10 minutes each). Participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.
It’s a meaningful way to support the planet while also contributing to academic research. If you’re interested in learning more or have any questions about the study, feel free to contact Emmanuelle directly at Emmanuelle.knox@students.dominican.edu.
Thank you for being part of this effort — we look forward to making a positive impact together!
