Flat Rock Park, Santa Rosa

Help protect Santa Rosa Creek—one of the Russian River’s vital tributaries—by removing harmful trash before winter rains wash it into the ocean. This location sees Steelhead spawning during the annual run, and is an especially important area to protect.

You’ll check in with your site leader Bridget Palmer near the bridge at Yulupa Circle & Yulupa Ave. Parking and registration are right at the corner.

This site features a moderate walking route with some natural foliage.

What’s Provided: Gloves, trash grabbers, bags, Free daily parking pass (available at check-in — just display it on your dashboard), A thank-you gift for your time and impact!

Why it matters: We know that 80% of ocean trash starts on land. Your cleanup helps protect wildlife and stop pollution before it flows downstream during the winter months. We can’t wait to get out on the river with you!
