Geyserville Bridge

The 39th Annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup

Be part of one of the biggest environmental volunteer events in Sonoma County! Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together to protect our beloved Russian River before the winter rains carry litter to the ocean.

Join your local cleanup crew at one of the most scenic stretches of the Russian River! This site features a moderate walking route with natural terrain and foliage, and we’ll provide everything you need to make a difference.

What’s Provided: Gloves, trash grabbers, bags, and a thank you gift for your time and impact!

Why it matters: We know that 80% of ocean trash starts on land. Your cleanup helps protect wildlife and stop pollution before it flows downstream during the wet months. We can’t wait to clean up with you!
