Memorial Beach (via Russian River Adventures) Route

The 40th Annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup

This year, the Russian River Watershed Cleanup spans sites throughout the watershed — and this signup is specifically for the Russian River Adventures Canoe route starting at Healdsburg Memorial Beach at Larry’s launch.

Please wear water-ready clothing (no jeans) as you will be getting in and out of the boat on this voyage. Closed-toe shoes are also recommended.

We’ll supply everything you need:

• Gloves
• Trash grabbers
• Bags

You bring the muscle and river spirit!

All volunteers will receive a special gift as a thank-you for your time and impact.

The morning of cleanup:

Group meets at Memorial Beach sign up about ~8:00am or 8:30am.

Before getting onto the water right away, we will shuttle all volunteers’ cars to Wohler Bridge.

Only 1 person per car is allowed. Everyone else can wait at Larry’s Launch. They can assist RR Adventures crew with getting boats ready. Feel free to look around the bars for trash. This should take no more than 45 minutes.

Volunteer cars will be waiting for them, and they can leave when they want. We just have to get a good start in the morning!
