Russian River Adventures Route

The 39th Annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup

This year, the Russian River Watershed Cleanup spans sites throughout the watershed — and this signup is specifically for the Russian River Adventures Canoe route starting at Healdsburg memorial beach at Larry’s launch.

We’ll supply everything you need:

  • Gloves
  • Trash grabbers
  • Bags

You bring the muscle and river spirit!

All volunteers will receive a special gift as a thank-you for your time and impact.

Please coordinate with your group leader, Kason Grady, for logistics.

The morning of cleanup:

Group meets at Memorial Beach sign up about ~8:00am or 8:30am.

Before getting onto the water right away, we will shuttle all volunteers’ cars to Wohler Bridge.

Only 1 person per car is allowed. Everyone else can wait at Larry’s Launch. They can assist RR Adventures crew with getting boats ready. Feel free to look around the bars for trash. This should take no more than 45 minutes.

Kason’s crew launches.

At about 1:30pm or 2:00pm, we will have a jet ski waiting a the bar at Westside Farms. We will wait for everyone to arrive and will tow the cleanup crew through Lake Wohler. Those wanting to paddle all the can do it if they want. It’s been done many times during clean ups.

Volunteer cars will be waiting for them, and they can leave when they want. We just have to get a good start in the morning!
