Jana Lawyer 

Development Director

Jana was born and raised in Mississippi and moved to beautiful Northern California in 2015 residing in Santa Rosa. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in marketing at Mississippi State University. Jana’s love for nonprofit work began at an early age with volunteering. She also interned at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ALSAC and then worked at a consulting firm as a senior consultant for 7 years helping nonprofits raise large gifts. Jana is passionate about the mission of Russian Riverkeeper and is excited to build strong relationships with donors and the community. In Jana’s free time, she loves spending time with her husband, hiking with her two rescue dogs – Shrimp & Grit as well as cooking and baking.
