Regional Parks River Shuttle
Operated by Sonoma County Regional Parks, this affordable shuttle service runs weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For the 2025 season, tickets are expected to go live in late spring. The shuttle loops between El Molino High School in Forestville and Steelhead Beach Regional Park, with stops at Sunset Beach River Park. An all-day ticket costs $5, and youth (ages 0-18) ride free with a ticket. River’s Edge Kayak & Canoe
Located in Healdsburg, River’s Edge offers self-guided trips with shuttle services. Their “Rio Trip” is a 3–6 hour paddle starting north of Healdsburg, with shuttle departures at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, and 11:30 am. They provide various rental options, including single and double kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards.
