If you are or know a student currently in law school and are interested in learning more about our work in the Russian River Watershed, this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for! This new intern program is designed to cover a variety of policy and legal projects that relate to Russian Riverkeeper’s work, and will allow students to learn about a wide range of issues while fine tuning their own research and writing skills. The internship program will cover a diverse range of issues affecting our watershed, from the public trust doctrine to the Clean Water Act, and everything in between.
Interns will work closely with our Staff Attorney and Executive Director in advocating for the health and protection of the Russian River Watershed. Positions will be available for remote work only and will line up with the typical school year. We hope this new program will provide law students dedicated to environmental law and policy a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience at a small, environmental non-profit.
Please forward to your friends that may know someone who would be interested! The full program description can be found HERE.
