Paul Dolan: Industry Pioneer, Mentor, and Family Focused

Everyone at Russian Riverkeeper sends our deepest condolences to the family of Paul Dolan who passed on July 26th. Paul made a tremendous and positive impact on our community and the wine industry while paying the most attention to his family. He pioneered organic and biodynamic wine growing and made some amazing wines over the years. We were fortunate that he was so generous with his time and wisdom and helped lead Russian Riverkeeper as a board member for 8 years.
Everyone at Riverkeeper greatly valued the knowledge he shared with our board and staff. He could listen to a conversation and see a path forward, always providing valuable insights. He helped us understand how grape growing can be done compatibly with a healthy river and community. Paul was a kind mentor and teacher, sharing his immense knowledge of everything from finance to being a great steward of the land. While our community lost a great leader, we are grateful for how Paul paved the way. We will all miss him dearly.
